It's always something. I want to be on here regularly. Be active and actually post something worth looking at or reading. Unfortunately something always gets in my way. I'm too busy or I forget the sit or I have computer problems. once again, it's computer problems.

I'm stuck typing this up on my phone because Loki (my laptop) is once again screwed up. But this time it didn't crash. The charger port is and has been broken since March of this year. Since I'm unemployed I have no way to get it fixed myself.

My Father had been telling me since April he knew someone that would fix it for $100 even. Since April he's had excuse after excuse for not getting it done. Now he out right refuses to have it fixed.

I've been trying to find work for the last couple years but it is not at all an easy task as no one will even chance me an interveiw. As things are begining to look, I might end up deactivating my account here and on other sites. I haven't decided yet. Perhaps I'll be able to post short stories on the mobile version of the site, if so I'll try to stay active that way. Otherwise I'm probably just going to delete this account.

...I'm still here!

Don't worry, I'm not going on some long rant or going to 'blog' about my personal life (like I've done for unknown reasons in the past). I just wanted to post this because, well, its been almost a year since my last entry. I haven't forgotten the site or anything, I've been back several times over the year faving pics here and there, but I haven't posted anything because I haven't really worked on anything. Trying to get my life together is taking up most of my time.

I'm only here now (its 10:57 pm where I am as I post this) to say that starting tomorrow (hopefully) I'll be back to sporadically posting things here and there. I've got a color scanner now so you won't be seeing my terrible cleanup jobs in GIMP anytime soon. Hopefully I'll get my hands on some color pencils so I can color my pics and maybe, if I can get the a decent camera (photo-primary, I already have a good video camera) then perhaps I post some of my photography and/or cosplays when I get more.

Until then I'll update the journal whenever I remember and my next post will be sometime in the near future. If I'm lucky.

I LIVE!!

So a lot has happened recently and since I'm feelin particularly lazy today I think I gonna keep it short.

Aside from babysitting (which as you all may or may not know by now, is the only thing I've been doing since October '09) not too much has happened. My grandfather's wife left, my grandfather has two girlfriends now however. My sister and the weasel finally split up so thank the Gods his ass is gone. Sissy got a new boyfriend that got her into trouble (we'll get into that in a minute). Let's see, my uncle is a dick and almost got my cousin jumped; my brother is hopeless class A shut-in and is trying to talk my friends into finding him a girlfriend (cuz he, himself, refuses to leave the house); I finally went to my first anime-themed convention; my grandfather had heart failure at work, then a heart attack at the hospital. Unfortunately he's still alive and has since come back home.

Kay so here's what happened just a couple days ago:

My grandfather dislikes men going up to the second floor of our house, let alone coming into the house. And it doesn't help that he has problems with people outside our race (it wouldn't be correct to call him raciest, but it would also be incorrect to say he's not) and Ray (Sissy's bf) is black (as is the weasel). Well she had this thing where she'd sneak him in at night after my uncle and grandfather went to sleep and would sneak him out the next morning if possible. Well he slipped up a couple days ago.

My sister usually checks the first floor and the porch to make sure no ones around when she sneaks him out. Well she check the first floor; no one. He came downstairs and looked outside. Sitting on the porch was my grandfather, my aunt, and my uncle's girlfriend. Ray and my grandfather made eye contact and it was over. Ray and Sis ran through the house and out the backdoor, my grandfather chasing after them screaming in Spanish. At this time my niece was out on the porch. Sis and Ray run around the side of the house and jump into Sis's car. They notice her daughter on the porch and she jumped out the car, ran up on the porch, grabbed her daughter, and went back into the car. They then started laughing and drove away.

My grandfather was pissed and started screaming about how he was going to kick her out. I haven't seen her since then. I just heard a couple hours ago from my dad that she's moving out, though he failed to mention whether my grandfather gave her the boot or if its of her free will. All I know is that once she come's and gets her stuff, I'm getting my old room back.

So far the only good thing that's come of that is I haven't babysat since Friday. If I'm lucky I won't have to babysit anymore, giving me my life back. I'm also gonna see about quitting school going to Life Skills instead, so hopefully that'll work out. Maybe I'll finally get my life back together.

The extra free time will let me start getting on here (+ other sites) more often like I used to. Once I figure out whether or not I'm done babysitting Imma start job hunting again. Things are starting to look up, slowly but surely.

Kay so I haven't had the time to draw anything lately, though I have got some WIPs now. I have, however, stayed up later to work on some stories, so I may be able to post something after all. I'm not expecting to post anything anytime soon so I'm not gonna promise a picture of this or a chapter of that. Instead I only promise to do my best to update my journal some more and maybe review a couple movies while you wait for some deviations.

Does anyone know the significance of today? Anyone? Dare to venture a guess? After you reach a certain mental age I guess it no longer matters, but considering the fact that he's like the greatest children's writer and one of my most favorite authors in the world I think it's only right to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday, don't you? 106 years old as of today. Too bad you couldn't live to see it.

Also, as of right now, I'd like to make it clear that new submissions are a few hours away from appearing. As promised I'm going to post the prologue to Etihathen in novel format and it will either be put into its own folder in my gallery or into the 'Denjenko' folder since it is their story. I'd be posting the prologue now but I sorta broke it up into four parts. It's each member's take on the same day, giving more an introduction to each character then the actual story itself.

Its a four part prologue starting with Hayden, then Robin, moving to Amanda after that, and then ending with Rhett. What's taking so long is that not only haven't I wrote Rhett's yet (I'm working on Amanda's now), but I want to make Hayden's part last instead of Rhett's.

Eh, the order will decide itself I guess. Oh and when it does get put up I'm asking that no one comment on my German. I'm still learning so I tried to keep it to a minimum, but as Hayden tends to mix German with his English (he is of German decent after all)and has full on conversations in German later in the story, he's forcing me to learn it so that it makes more sense.

I'm only learning the basics now (yay Rosetta Stone!!) so if anything is wrong or weird blame google translate, for it told me that that was the spelling and/or translation of what he's saying. I'll put what I meant for him to be saying in the author notes, as well as google's back and forth translations, so anyone who actually knows German can correct me (or google) so that I'll get it right next time.

I'm learning a few different languages (for myself and for the sake of my story), my main focus right now being German and Japanese for Hayden and Shizuru (and most of her gang). If any of my Japanese spelling ends up being wrong I blame that on google. Before I started home schooling I took Japanese at my old high school. I learned the basics, introductions, and enough to hold a light conversation (i.e. chitchat: hows the weather?, what's that?, how are you doing?, etc), plus some scattered words from anime/manga (mainly honorifics though) and my friend Erica (who finished Japanese in school). So whatever kanji or katakana ends up being wrong its google translates fault. Huzzah Rosetta Stone for helping me finish my learning!

There's also a character who shows up later that uses a bunch of French phrases, but lucky for me he doesn't have any full French conversations. At the moment I haven't decided whether I wanna make him a regular character or not, so right now I can get away with the little bit of French I know. I was going to make him Russian, but the language is too hard for me to pick up. That and I only know 1 Russian phrase and that's "do svidaniya" which means "goodbye". I can't spell it in Russian since I don't know their lettering (fuck you very much Rosetta Stone ), though according to google it would be "до свидания". Maybe one day I'll figure it out and be the master of six or so languages. That'd be so cool.
